We are a friendly family run Garage in Cardiff. We offer Servicing, Repairs & MOT testing to all makes & models of cars, light commercial vehicles plus people carriers, campers & 4x4s. Established in 1946, we have a well trained & dedicated staff and excellent modern facilities.
We are centrally located in Cathays, Cardiff, provide a Free Collection & Delivery Service throughout the City & have courtesy cars available.

| I was not familiar with the Trust My Garage Scheme but I was looking for someone local to look at my air con as it was not working during Covid lockdown. Google recommended Ferris Brothers and they were very good throughout the process, particularly good verbal and written communication, checking I understood what they proposed and agreed to it before going ahead, also helping me make a warranty claim. Would definitely recommend. No shortcuts, you get what you pay for, they are very up front about the fact that they charge slightly more for labour per hour but they believe its a fair rate for what they offer and I agree. | Very happy with these guys. My diesel Fiesta had a noise for a few seconds after switch off from hot which would have sent my previous garage into an expensive "replace parts until fixed" spiral. Andrew's approach was to patiently replicate the problem - & prove it wasn't the turbo seals, leaking injectors or other runaway diesel issue; before diagnosing it as cooling fan rattle -which only showed at max fan speed. | Finding a trusted garage is difficult, especially for someone like me who knows not much about cars, and so have to trust what I'm being told by the professionals. I'm often wary! | I took my trusty well loved Freelander to be MOT'd, which it sadly failed. In fairness, the garage had warned me last year that it wasn't looking too healthy underneath. They explained the work that needed doing to pass the MOT and estimated how much it would cost. They also advised that due to the age and condition of the car it would be uneconomical to have it repaired. Advice which I heeded. When I found the car that I was interested in, Ferris Bros, checked it over for me and informed me of any work that needed doing. They also ensured that the garage where I was purchasing it from carried out the work. I would highly recommend this garage for its honesty and helpfulness.
