| I really like this garage. I went to get my service done and I was quoted a really good price. Then Mike advised me that my tyres would need changing and so I followed him up on this and he gave me a very good price as well as applied my NHS discount. The whole team including Mike himself are friendly and polite and they know what they are doing and can get the job done in a good amount of time at a high standard of quality. | Well what can I say, Big T has gone above and beyond! Just before Christmas my electrics went on my car with other problems aswell.. I went to a few garages and nothing could be done or Ford quoted me over the odds! Then a friend of mine recommend TAW Garage...
Tony went out of his way to help fix my car and at a reasonable price too...
As a young woman I do worry about going to garages on my own and being ripped off but rest assured ladies you don’t need to worry about that with Big T..

| I always use Taw Garage for my MOT due to family recommendations. They are always friendly, respectful and reliable. Today I rang them due to a fault and my EML being on. They asked me to call down. They checked the car and explained exactly what the problem was, quoted me fairly.

| After being told by another garage that my glow plugs were under the engine and it would be an expensive job to change them, my brother advised that I get a second opinion as it didn't seem right. I took my SUV to Taw and Tony told me, I was right to get a 2nd quote as the glow plugs weren't under the engine. He even showed me where they were and explained everything to me in plain english. They were easy to talk to and it was ready on time! I saved over £200 using Taw Garage and would highly recommend them to my family and friends. | I've been using this garage for repairs and MOT since we moved to the area, on a friend's recommendation, on my second car now and probably running up a good customer rating because I buy old cars which always need work doing! They have always been friendly, fast and reliable, an honest and hard working business. Before this car I had a Toyota, which can be tricky, but they handled it with no fuss. When I needed a new gearbox for the Honda during the summer, they admitted it could take longer than usual due to Covid-19, but offered to lend me a company car so I wasn't stuck (I didn't need it in the end as I borrowed my mum's). This time, thieves took my catalytic converter and it needed the whole exhaust system replacing because of how they had just cut it out instead of unbolting it. The car went in on Friday morning and I expected a long wait for parts to come in, but it was ready by Monday afternoon - and they don't work weekends! Now that's fast! Car is running great again with the new exhaust (and haven't had any trouble with the new gearbox either). I highly recommend this garage to anyone in the area. | November 24, 2020 |
| I've been using TAW for years. They do a good professional job at a reasonable cost. They are honest and only do work that is needed. I have to mention Tony who is a diamond geezer. After telling him that it may be a little difficult getting back to the garage after completed works he offered to come and pick me up - this was fabulous for me and saved me messing about with public transport. He's also good to chat too and very amenable. Can't see me going anywhere else in the near future. Hope they see this glowing report and I get whopping discount next time.
